Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Ensure child health appraisal is updated at least every 13 months. Child #4 and #5 need updated health appraisals. Send documentation to OCCL by 2/10/2025.”
“Ensure child files are complete. Send complete file for Child #9.”
“The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on February 17, 2023, regarding the provider not being present and not providing the majority of the child care duties, not following requirements for a substitute, unapproved persons being present during child care hours, not following fingerprinting requirements for an adult volunteer, not notifying OCCL of a change in use of a substitute, and not having current court custody papers in a child s file. An investigation was conducted on February 24, 2023. The complaint is substantiated for not following the requirements for a substitute because [name withheld] stated she has left her emergency-use substitute to care for children, while she attended appointments. The complaint is substantiated for not having current custody papers in Child #1 s file because [name withheld] admitted the need to ask Parent #1 for updated custody papers because she did not have a copy. There is no evidence to substantiate the complaint for the provider not being present and providing the majority of child care duties as [name withheld] stated she only leaves occasionally for appointments. There is no evidence to substantiate the complaint for not following fingerprinting requirements because [name withheld] s substitute has been fingerprinted and determined eligible. There is no evidence to substantiate the complaint for not notifying OCCL, because [name withheld] is not changing her substitute to a non-emergency-use substitute and therefore does not require notification to OCCL. There is no evidence to substantiate the complaint for unapproved persons being present during child care hours as [name withheld] denied this allegation and stated Person #1 was only present briefly on one morning.”
“All household members must be fingerprinted before the date five years from their last fingerprinting. Saboor's fingerprinting expired on March 8, 2023. Send the fingerprint receipt for Saboor, and the eligibility letter as soon as you receive it.”
“Send a copy of the parent handbook to OCCL.”
“All child files must be complete. -Lead blood screening results are needed for four children. -Hours of attendance are needed for one child.”
“The electrical inspection expires on January 13, 2023. Have a new electrical inspection completed.”
“Place each child's sheet and blanket in a separate plastic bag and label each bag with the child's name. Send photo(s).”
“The weekly menu must be posted. Send a copy of two weeks' worth of menus to OCCL.”
