Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Three classrooms were missing posted allergy lists. This was corrected at inspection.”
“The operation added the Parent's Rights to the Parent Handbook also called Operational Policies during the inspection.”
“It was determined in an investigation that a child was given pizza when they have a dairy allergy. This was corrected at the investigation inspection as the operation has re-done their allergy postings in the classroom to be more visual so caregivers can see what allergens children in their class have rather than reading from a chart.”
“Six children's medication was not in the original container.”
“Five children did not have Food Allergy Emergency Plan signed by the parents.”
“Based on information obtained and a self-report, it was determined that a child was briefly left unattended.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and found to be deficient. It was determined that two caregivers did not follow operational protocol of conducting a head count when transitioning children from one place to another place. As a result one child was left unsupervised in the restroom.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and was found to be deficient. One caregiver stated that they are never given any information about the children they supervise.”
“This standard was evaluated and found to be deficient. It was determined that a child was left unsupervised in the bathroom.”
