Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Three infants eating breakast at the kidney bean table had their breakfast served on the bare table. This was corrected at inspection when the chidlren were given plates.”
“4 caregiver files were reviewed and missing educaton qualifications.”
“The back outdoor playground area contained hazards such as 2 feet of rebar sticking out of the ground near the swings. The sidewalk is a tripping hazard due to uneven, broken concrete. There are various broken toys, furniture and trash on the back outdoor playground. The surfacing is not maintained under the swings. Lastly in the front play area accessed by the children there is a hole in the side of the building where a stray cat gained access. The children will not have access to the back play area until compliance is maintained.”
“The smoke alarm in the afterschool classroom was not working due to the battery being installed incorrectly. This was fixed at inspection. The smoke alarm in the infant room had been moved and had not been reinstalled into the infant room. This was corrected at inspection.”
“The loose fill surfacing on the playground does not measure atleast six inches for play equipment atleast five feet or less.”
