Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection, the operation was out of ratio, with 7 children in care. Two children were 0-17 months, and five children who are 18 months and older.”
“Four children are missing the updated special care needs statement.”
“The fire extinguisher is no longer good to be used, with the arrow being in the red-recharge section.”
“The bathroom used by care had a number of hazards present and accessible to children. CI: The operation removed the items from the bathroom during inspection.”
“The substitute caregiver does not have any annual training hours for the 4/2022 through 4/2023 training year. The primary caregiver is missing three required topics for the 6/2021 through 6/2022 training year.”
