Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on information gathered in the investigation it was determined neither caregiver of a child left unattended on the playground noticed the child was missing when they got to the playground, when they left the playground, and when they returned to the classroom. They did not realize the child was missing from the group until they were alerted by the director. This substantiates that the caregivers did not know which children (or how many) they were responsible for. Information gathered indicated transition protocols were not followed.”
“Supervision was not in compliance when a child was left alone unattended inside the classroom when the classroom transitioned outside to the playground.”
“Based on information obtained staff did not report suspected abuse the first time bruises were observed on a child in care.”
