Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Of the six children's records reviewed 4 of them were missing necessary requirements.”
“There was not a current fire inspection avaiable for review.”
“While on a field trip the operation was not in ratio for the age range of the children.”
“Fire drills have not been completed monthly.”
“Personnel files were incomplete.”
“There was a person that requires a background check present at the operation without a background check.”
“Upon arrival there were 12 children with one caregiver including an infant leaving the age between the oldest and youngest greater than 18 months.”
“There were no written activity plans available for review.”
“The provider did not have a playground checklist for the previous three months.”
“The cribs were not labeled with the infant's names.”
“Personnel files including training were not available for review.”
“The director's CPR/First Aid Certification was expired.”
