Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“This standard was reviewed during an investigation and was found not in compliance. It was determined that appropriate supervision was not provided when a child was left unattended in the bathroom.”
“This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. There was sufficient evidence to support the allegations that the parents of the child were not being notified of less serious injuries at the end of the day.”
“This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. There was sufficient evidence to support that the caregivers were not sufficiently supervising the alleged child when the child was injured.”
“This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. There is sufficient evidence that the caregiver grabbed the child by the elbow to get the child's attention.”
“The safety alarm on one of the vans is not operational. This was discussed with the operation.”
“This standard was reviewed in relation to the reported allegations and found to be deficient. A caregiver did not use good judgment and was viewed on camera handling a child inappropriately and moving the child to the table when taken by the arm.”
“The allergy alert plans were reviewed for the HASA and two of the four plans did not have a parent signature.”
“The operational policies were reviewed and were missing the promotion of active play items.”
“This standard was reviewed in relation to the self-reported allegations and found to be deficient. A child left a classroom unsupervised and was found in a storage classroom. The child was alone for 3 minutes. The caregiver responsible for the child is no longer employed at the operation.”
