Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“An infant child fell out of a stroller and had to obtain medical treatment due to the safety strap not being secured.”
“It was determined throughout the course of the investigation that a caregiver caused bruises on a child in care after grabbing the child by the arm on multiple occasions.”
“It was determined throughout the course of the DFPS Investigation that children in care were physically abused.”
“Upon review of the center's operational policies it was determined that the policies were lacking information regarding the promotion of indoor and outdoor activity. Furthermore, the operational policies were lacking information regarding the safe sleep policy for infants from birth through 12 months old that is consistent with the rules in sub chapter H of the minimum standards. A portion of this violation was corrected at inspection when form 2550 discussing operational safe sleep polices was added to the center's operational policies.”
“Upon entry the Director was absent, The present caregivers were not aware who was in charge of the operation in the director's absence.”
“The operation did not have a current fire inspection on file.”
