Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection there were thirteen children present and in care. This was corrected during the inspection when two children were picked up by a parent.”
“The immunization record for one child was missing the folowing immunizations: DTAP-2, Hep B- 2”
“The fence located in the outdoor play area had a portion which was broken off.”
“The files of three children were missing the following immunizations: Child 1: DTap-1, IPV-1, Hib-1, PCV-2, MMR-1, Varicella-1. Child 2: Dtap-1, Hib- 1, PCV-1, MMr-1, Varicella-1. Child 3: DTap-1, Hib-1”
“A group of children was observed watching television in excess of one hour during the inspection.”
“The primary caregiver and assistant caregiver do not have in person CPR/First Aid training completed.”
“The operation does not have fire marshall approval to care for children upstairs. During the inspection two school-aged children were being cared for upstairs. This was corrected during the inspection when the children were brought downstairs.”
“One caregiver was present and caring for children with an inactive background check status. The operation corrected this during the inspection by resubmitting the background check and sending the caregiver home.”
