Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“It was observed that caregiver did not wash hands following diaper changing.”
“A toddler classroom was over ratio.”
“There was a caregiver present in a classroom without a background check.”
“A caregiver was present and in contact with children in care prior to an eligible and approved background check.”
“A caregiver hired at the operation did not have a high school diploma, high school equivalent, or certification of completion.”
“A caregiver at the operation had a forged high school diploma.”
“There was a child in a high chair with the safety belt unfastened. The director fastened the belt while the inspector was at the monitoring.”
“A caregiver was found to have not properly counted children returning to the classroom after playing outside, and a 1yo child was found to have walked into an empty classroom and play unnoticed and unsupervised for 30 minutes.”
