Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operational policies did not have a policy about the cat that was present in the home.”
“The cat that was present in the home did not have vaccination records available for review.”
“There was a garbage can with dirty diapers that did not have a lid. This was corrected during the inspection when the garbage can was moved where children couldn't access it.”
“Out of five children's files reviewed, one was missing an updated immunization record and one was missing a parent signature to consent to emergency medical treatment.”
“Two of the slides on the playground did not have six feet of space in front of the access or to the sides.”
“The children's product certification form was last signed in 2022.”
“4 out 4 children files were evaluated and did not have a documentation of a health statement being completed.”
“Operational policies were evalauted and did not have a policy on promotion of outdoor play.”
