Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A child in care with an identified food allergy did not have a food allergy emergency plan signed by doctor and parent.”
“Director was missing annual medication training.”
“During naptime most children in the preschool room were observed napping on mix mats that did not match their names.”
“A CPSC posting was not observed during review of main board at entrance of center. This was corrected when the director provided me with a new copy of the CPSC FORM 2885 and posted it.”
“During review of transportation binders, one child being transported did not have the emergency medical information for review. This was corrected when the director made a copy of the emergency medical information and added the form to the binder.”
