Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver in a pre-k class did not know the correct count of children in their room when asked. Attendance record was verified and caregiver recounted children to confirm accurate number of children in the room.”
“Two children with diagnosed food allergies did not have the proper Food Allergy Emergency Plan on file.”
“Based off the DFPS investigation, two caregivers grabbed a child underneath the arms which resulted in bruises.”
“The operation did not notify the parent of a child who was involved in a situation that was being investigated because it was reported the child had been placed at risk.”
“A caregiver did not use positive methods of discipline and guidance when trying to physically redirect a two-year-old child.”
“The operation's management did not report an incident involving a caregiver mishandling a child with special needs, after the concern was brought to their attention.”
