Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Observed 4 children records out of 7 files and one file was missing the Authorization to obtain emergency medical care and to transport the child for emergency medical treatment”
“During an investigation, it was found that monthly feeding instructions are not being completed each month. I spoke with the staff about having parents complete the feeding instructions monthly and following the instructions.”
“During an investigation it was found that children have not been signed in or out for around 5-6 months. I spoke with staff and sent a sign in/out sheet to the operation to use until they can get their computer system to work again.”
“Observed the operations operational policies, the following were missing from the policies, safe sleep for infants proceedures for inclusive services to children with special needs”
“There were 5 caregivers that did not have verification of orientation on file. There was 1 caregiver that did not have pre-service on file.”
“The childcare facility did not report communicable illnesses to Child Care Regulation within the required timeframe. This was corrected when licensing explained the ways to report covid cases.”
