Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection, it was determined that the primary caregiver falsied information provided on the emegergency drills form.”
“The operation did not have a records of drills practiced since December 2025. This was brought into compliance when the operation practiced a fire drill during the inspection.”
“At the time of the inspection, two baby walkers were observed, with one in use by an infant in care. Both walkers were removed during the inspection.”
“The AC Unit in the backyard is accessible to children in care.”
“4 children records reviewed, one child was missing an updated immunization record.”
“Three children did not have current immunizations on file at the operation.”
“The provider did not have proof of current CPR or First Aid training.”

“The fire extinguisher observed was not mounted and last serviced on October 2017.”
“During the inspection two smoke detectors and the carbon monoxide detector did not have batteries.”
“During the inspection, a bottle of bleach was observed underneath the kitchen sink, unlocked and accessible to children. There was dog feces and trash debris on the playground where children were observed playing. On the back porch, multiple electric power tools were plugged into a wall socket and accessible to children. The living room blinds, were drawn for lighting, and the cords were hanging down and the children were playing with them. The kitchen cabinet was locked, the cords from the blinds were wrapped up and made inaccessible to the children, the power tools were covered with a blanket and out of reach to the children. This was corrected at inspection.”
“The provider was observed taking trash to an outside garbage can, leaving the children unsupervised inside the home.”
“The written operational policies and procedures did not have the required components for the emergency preparedness plan and the promotion of outdoor play.”
