Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the investigation, it was found that the caregiver did not use good judgment when she approached the caregiver and raised her voice in front of the children in care.”
“An old couch/chair was observed torn and poses a safety risk to the children.”
“Several caulking spots were seen throughout one of the classrooms, in another room, the door was observed and needs to be wiped down.”
“One classroom did not have enough activities for the children to play with. The caregiver had provided activities without allowing the children to choose”
“Clorox wipes was observed on the diapering table. This was corrected when the caregiver removed the wipes out of the reach of the children.”

“The operation did not follow the conditions of the background unit by allowing a person deemed ineligible to be present and inside the operation during operating hours and while children were in care.”
“The operation has been educated on background check guidelines and how to determine if and when a person is eligible to be present at the operation. With this knowledge, staff did not use good judgment when they knowingly allowed and facilitated the presence of a person with ineligible conditions to be present at the operation while children were in care. The operation would not report this interaction to childcare regulations.”
“During an investigation inspection, it was found, the operation did not report to childcare regulations an occurrence that rendered the facility unsafe.”
