Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Three playgrounds did not have at least six inches of loose fill.”

“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and found to be deficient after the director failed to report to licensing that a child was left unattended in a classroom for at least five minutes.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and found to be deficient after a caregiver failed to account for the number of children she had in care causing a child to be left unattended in a classroom.”

The director did not ensure the pre-k class had a written activity plan for several weeks and the caregiver had to run the class without the required plan of activity. The director did not ensure the caregiver had a plan of structured activities for the children. The director also failed to ensure parents were being notified of incidents with their child.”
