Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Two staff hired did not have proof of completed orientation in file for review.”
“Three children's files reviewed did not have the current immunization in file for review. **One child's file was corrected at inspection when the parent updated the record to show the child did not require immunizations in file due to attending school. Another child's parent brought the update immunization to place in file during the inspection.”
“A staff was observed providing transportation and did not have current transportation training in file for review.”
“Epi-pen medication was observed for a child who has a diagnosed food allergy and it had expired as of 6/2024.”
“A 6-month-old child was permitted to sleep in a restrictive device for approximately 50 minutes. The child was removed from the restrictive device during the inspection.”
