Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One of the records evaluated did not have the signed parent's rights.”
“A caregiver did not have the required form 2912.”
“A caregiver was observed allowing children to run back to the cafeteria area from the bathrooms unsupervised.”
“Caregivers were observed supervising 42 children. One caregiver took 10 children to the restroom, leaving the other caregiver with 32 children, bringing the group out of ratio by 7. Each time a parent came to sign a child out, a caregiver was observed leaving the group of children with one caregiver to go open the door for the parent.”
“A caregiver did not have classroom control. The children were observed running and not listening to the instructions given by the caregiver, causing the caregiver to have to use higher than normal voice tones to gain the attention of the children.”
“Two children with diagnosed allergies did not have the required allergy plan available for review.”
“A caregiver was observed supervising 38 children at the restrooms bringing the group out of ratio by 13. This was corrected when the second caregiver joined the group.”
“Two caregivers did not have the required pre-application.”
