Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver was using a harsh tone of voice towards children in her care.”
“Five out of the six records monitored did not have the required annual trainings for communicable diseases, building and physical premises safety, and hazardous materials. One out of the 6 did not have the communicable diseases and hazardous materials.”
“A caregiver has been observed using her cell phone in the classroom while supervising children in care.”
“The operation has employees listed as active that are no longer working at the operation. Inspector found at least one staff who left in 2022 that is still showing as active in the system.”
“Based on the information provided during the course of the investigation, staff are being designated as directors at a facility but are not directly responsible for the staff onsite.”
