Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A child's hands were not washed after a diaper change. This was corrected during the inspection when brought to the caregiver's attention the child's hands were washed.”
“Operation was out of ratio with a 7 month old infant in a classroom with children over 25 m.”
“The cribs in the infant room had no space between them allowing the infants to reach into the cribs next to them.”
“There were three children observed in high chairs and none of the safety straps were buckled.”
“There was a piece of equipment in the infant room that had been recalled.”
“The infant room had 6 infants with 1 caregiver and the specified age group was 0-11.”
