Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation did not have the required safety drill documentation available during inspection.”
“It was noticed that the admission information forms for 5 children enroll were not available for viewing at the inspection.”
“One child enroll did not have immunization record available for review.”
“There was no documentation of fire emergency drills, fire extinguisher checks, smoke detector checks, and carbon monoxide detector testing made available for review during the inspection.”
“The smoke detectors in two designated rooms for childcare were not functioning. Note: The caregiver's husband installed the new batteries in the smoke dectectors and tested at the inspection.”
