Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Caregiver was left in charge without a background ran at the operation.”
“A caregiver grabbed a child by the leg and pulled them back to their nap mat after the child attempted to get up during nap time. The caregiver's actions caused the child's body to rub across the mat which resulted in injury.”
“A caregiver demonstrated poor judgment when deciding to grab and pull a child as a means of providing guidance and redirection during naptime.”
“It was determined during an investigation this standard was deficient. The operation did not notify the parent at time of pick up of a less serious injury obtain at the child-care operation.”
“Standard was determined deficient during a DFPS investigation when a caregiver did not demonstrate good judgement, and self control when aggressively placing a child in a chair when they said 'no."”
“Standard was found deficient during a DFPS investigation when a caregiver grabbed a child's face, then arm, and drug them approximately 5-7 feet.”
“Two children over four years old and not enrolled in school records did not have hearing and vision screenings available for review at time of inspection.”
“Two allergy plans were not signed by the parent.”
