Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“This standard was reviewed as part of an investigation and found deficient. It was determined a child was left unsupervised in a classroom for approximately 4-5 minutes while the rest of the class was on the playground.”
“This standard was reviewed as part of an investigation and found deficient as a vape pen was found by a child while in care.”
“A sampling of children records were evaluated. One child's record lacked a health statement.”
“This standard was reviewed as part of an investigation and found deficient. A caregiver failed to maintain appropriate supervision of a group of children on the playground as two children wandered out of the playground unsupervised and were found at the front door of the operation.”
“During interviews it was found that some caregivers were grabbing children by the arm and hurting them when in trouble.”
“During the investigation it was found that a child was left alone for 2 minutes in a classroom.”
