Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There were 2 classrooms that were unaware of the number of children in their group. In one group a caregiver stated she had 15 and it was determined she had 14. In another group a caregiver stated she had 6 children and it was determined she had 7 children in their care.”
“There were 2 groups of children observed transitioning into the snack room and the caregivers were observed to have walked in first while there were still children walking behind the caregivers. In another incident a caregiver was observed to have stepped out of her classroom to watch children put away their belongings on a shelf, that was in a separate classroom, there was only the 1 caregiver present to supervise both groups of children.”
“A person with an inactive background was observed with access to children. The person was asked to leave during the inspection by the person in charge.”

“The operation has not provided the corrections to the Operational Policy that are required: parent rights, procedures for inclusive care, employee vaccinations, emergency preparedness, procedures for parents to participate and immunization requirements.”
