Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“5 Infants did not have up to date infant feeding sheets.”
“Bathrooms had cleaning supplies that were accesible to children. THis was corrected at inspection when the director went through each room and placed the swiffer in the locked classroom closets.”
“2 children's medications were expired at the time of the inspection.”
“3 out of 10 employee trainings reviewed were missing SIDs and Shaken Baby Annual Trainings.”
“During a DFPS investigation, it was discovered a caregiver was pinching children on the cheeks.”
“Based on the evidence gathered during the investigation, a situation that placed a child at risk was not reported to CCR.”
“During the walk through , caregivers were observed not washing the hands of children after toileting. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver washed the children's hands.”
“Observe a child being served breakfast without hands being washed first. This was corrected by the child hands being washed.”
“Based on the information gathered during the inspection it was determined that a caregiver did not inform parent was not notified during pickup of child falling and hitting lip on a table. This was corrected by administration notifying the parent via email and phone call.”
“Two out of twenty five records reviewed were missing school information.”
“One out of twenty five records reviewed was missing emergency medical authorization information.”
