Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“It was noticed that one staff did not have the current First Aid and CPR certificate for review.”
“It was noticed that one of the caregivers did not have a notarized affidavit in her file.”
“The inspector observed the children napping. Some children were sleeping on the red side of the mats and others on the blue side. The operation has not marked mats distinguishing the floor side from the sleeping side. Note: the mats were marked during visit.”
“It was noticed that bottles and sippy cup in the infant room were not labeled. Note, this was corrected at inspection by labeling the bottle with infant's name.”
