Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Four children's files out of four files reviewed had parents listed as emergency contacts.”
“One child's file does not have a current immunization record.”
“Based on a search of the Secretary of State website the operations LLC is not currently active.”
“One child's shot records is not up to date.”
“The primary caregiver stated the drills have not been written down after they were completed.”
“The primary caregiver had 12 children with two of those children under the age of 17 months. Note: The assistant caregiver arrived from picking up the primary caregivers school age children and two children were picked up by their parents.”
“The following topics are missing from the primary caregiver's training hours: Emergency preparedness, Preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases, including immunizations, Preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction, Understanding building and physical premises safety, including identification and protection from hazards that can cause bodily injury such as electrical hazards, bodies of water, and vehicular traffic, Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials”
