Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During an investigation inspection, the operation was using blackout curtains, causing inadequate lighting and the need for my eyes to adjust upon arrival into the classroom.”
“During the investigation inspection, it was observed that two children were placed in front of the main front door for naptime.”
“Based on the information obtained, there is evidence to show that caregivers have been left alone in the operation during naptime with no additional staff present in the building.”
“The director had 24.5 hours of the required 30 training hours.”
“A nail on a railing for stairs on playground equipment was sticking out and accessable to children. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when the nail was hammered into place.”
