Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Caregiver did not complete the 24 hours of preservice training before being counted in ratio.”
“Children's files did not have the health statement.”
“2nd caregiver left classroom leaving the other caregiver out of ratio with12 two year olds.”
“Caregiver did not know the number of children present when asked by licensing.”
“Caregiver at operation did not have correct qualifications.”
“Multiple staff files did not have the current CPR/First Aid card for review.”
“Multiple children's files did not have the admission date available.”
“Child was outside of classroom in hallway unsupervised in time out.”
“After breakfast children in the 18-24 month class, washed hands with a wipe. Children this age should be washing hands with soap and water.”
“Upon my arrival there was a can of lysol on a desk where children were walking and was accessable.”
“Operation did not have a current certification of the product safety sheet.”
