Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on information gathered by DFPS, a caregiver inappropriately disciplined a child by pulling and tugging on a child?s arm.”
“The lack of visual awareness of a caregiver resulted in a child being left on the playground.”
“A caregiver left a child on the playground based on video evidence.”
“Children were supervised in a manner that did not prevent a child from being bit on the playground.”
“Training certificates were missing in caregivers folders.”
“The first aid kit in one of the transportation vans was missing the following items: cotton balls, antiseptic, and tweezers Note: This was corrected at the inspection when the missing items were placed in the first aid kit.”
