Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Drinking water was not available to children during snack.”
“The primary caregiver did not have at least 3 hours of training in topics covering management, busines, or leadership.”
“Children older than 18 months had their hands cleaned with wipes after diapering and not with running water after diaper changes.”
“The infant feeding schedule was not available for review for the infants not yet on table food.”
“A 3 month old infant was lying in a bouncer in a bedroom with the door closed. The child was awake but was not being supervised properly.”
“The operational policies did not include safe sleep practices, how to handle medical emergencies and active play.”
“Five files evaluated did not have the emergency contact address on file.”
“The assistant caregiver was not current with their orientation training.”
“The children were not strapped in their bucket seats at the table.”
“The assistant caregiver did not have their required 24 hour of annual training.”
