Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“When entering from outside, the toddlers and preschool classrooms did not wash their hands. Additionally, before eating, the older infants, toddler room, and Pre-K classes also did not wash their hands. In the toddler room, hands were not washed after diaper changes.”
“The preschool classrooms have stopped using the sinks in the bathrooms because they clog when in use for too long. In the toddler and older infant rooms, the portable sinks are also not functioning. The sinks have not been in use for over a week.”
“It was observed that in the older infants', toddlers', and preschool rooms, caregivers did not wash their hands after coming in from outside, after diaper changing, and before serving food.”
