Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the monitoring inspection it was relayed that the listed director is not present the required number of hours each week and is working on appointing a new director.”
“The last documented gas inspection occurred on 2/20/2023.”
“The last documented fire drill occurred on 2/16/24. This was corrected during the inspection by conducting a fire drill during the inspection with an exit time of one minute 36 seconds.”
“A caregiver failed to wash their hands and a child's hands after a diaper change. This was corrected during the inspection.”
“One caregiver was observed with 6 infants in care ages 2 months, 13 months, 13 months, 14 months, 16 months, and 17 months. This was corrected during the inspection when the second caregiver returned from the bathroom.”
“Children in care did not have access to drinking water during snack and meal times. This was corrected during the inspection.”
“It was determined throughout the course of the investigation that a caregiver in charge of children in care did not have current Pediatric CPR First Aid when a child in care was injured at the operation. The caregiver was past the 90-day window to obtain the training as required.”
