Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The toddler classroom was out of ratio there were 12 children with 1 caregiver. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when a second caregiver was placed in the toddler classroom making the classroom come to ratio.”
“In the infant rooms one of the mats was not labeled with the childs name. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when caregiver labeled the mat.”
“Staff files were reviewed and 2 out of the 4 staff files were missing trainings in the following training topics. * Preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction. * Preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases, including immunizations. * Administering medication. * Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials including compliance.”
“During inspection it was observed the ATTENTION PARENTS required posting was not posted. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when director posted the ATTENTION PARENTS letter in the entrance of the center.”
“During inspection it was observed the most recent fire inspection was not posted.”
