Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A household member was present at the operation while children were in care without an active background check.”
“During the inspection the operational policies did not include the promotion of outdoor activity.”
“During the inspection, the fire extinguisher was observed on a kitchen counter and not mounted.”
“During a walk through of the playground, the play area had not been maintained. There were growing weeds in the yard, a hole was observed in the play space, fencing around the play area was worn and there were areas that could cause a child to become entrapped. A hammer was on a table in the play area and accessible to children. This was corrected by the hammer being removed and placed in an inaccessible to children in care. The hole was corrected during the inspection by placing soil in the hole to prevent trips/falls.”
“The primary caregiver completed 10 out of the required annual training hours.”
