Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One bottle of Buckeye Blue All Purpose Cleaner was left on a table next to toys. Note: Cleaner was removed by inspector immediately.”
“During inspection it was observed that multiple areas of the cafeteria had toys, backpacks, colors, papers, jackets, and other items on the floors and walk ways that were potential hazards for children to slip and fall on. Children were running during this time, so the risk was greater.”
“A five year old child was released to another child under the age of 16 that is not designated on the child's admission form.”
