Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on interviews and documentation obtained during the investigation, it was determined that staff did not exercise good judgement by participating in a prank that created a false medical concern involving a child.”
“During the Monitoring Inspection, the operation could not provide documentation of a current Health/Sanitation Inspection conducted as required.”
“One staff member had an expired CPR and First Aid Certification as of 8/8/2024.”
“Based on the investigation and information obtained the operation is not in compliance. A child was left on the playground for approximately 5 minutes unsupervised.”
“During a walk-through, a bottle of disinfectant wipes under an unlocked cabinet was accessible to children. Note: The caregiver removed the disinfectant wipes and placed them inside a locked cabinet not accessible to children.”
“I did not observe documentation of Infant Safety Training for two caregivers who work with infants.”
“I observed that the center's operational policies did not include information on the centere's procedures for Active Play.”
“I observed one caregiver supervising 8 infant and toddler children. The specified age of the group was 16 months. The maximum number of older infants that a caregiver can supervise while working alone is 5. NOTE: This was corrected during the inspection when a second caregiver joined the group.”
