Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A food allergy emergency plan was missing a parent's signature.”
“A caregiver had an expired First Aid/CPR certificate.”
“One personnel file was missing required annual health and safety training certificates.”
“Two feeding instructions were a month behind 30 day required period.”
“One child's file was missing immunization record.”
“A caregiver had an expired CPR/First Aid certificate.”
“One child's file did not list an emergency contact on the enrollment form.”
“At the time of the inspection 2 infants in care that are not yet eating table food did not have updated written feeding instructions.”
“At the time of the inspection the operation had not conducted any fire drills for the 2023 calendar year.”
“The daycare's carbon monoxide detector system is wired into the fire panel system. The system's last inspection was conducted on 11/11/2020.”
“There are 3 infants enrolled who do not eat table food. The 3 feeding instructions on file were completed, but they did not include parent signature or date.”
