Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Primary caregivers CPR/First Aid expired and did not have a current certification for licensing to view.”
“Eleven training hours were not completed for the annual 30 hours of training,”
“Children in care were spanked as a form of discipline. On at least one occasion this resulted in an injury to the child.”
“A group of children were left unsupervised in the backyard while the primary caregiver prepared lunch in the kitchen.”
“This standard was found deficient as part of a DFPS investigation.”
“Based on the high weighted deficiencies cited the primary caregiver has demonstrated that she has not been operating her licensed childcare home in compliance with the minimum standards.”
