Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation failed to ensure that a caregiver adequately supervised a child at all times. During outdoor play, the child left the playground through the gate, entered the building, to change his clothes without the caregiver responsible for his supervision's knowledge. The caregiver was unaware the child had left the playground until another staff member located the child inside the building and notified her. The child was able to leave the designated play area and remain unsupervised, demonstrating that appropriate supervision was not maintained.”
“Child was treated harshly by being pushed by a caregiver.”
“Caregiver has been heard yelling at children while in care.”
“Caregiver has been observed using harsh tones when interacting with the children.”
“Five out of ten immunization records were reviewed and missing shots.”
