Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“At time of inspection a child was observed placed in front of entrance/exit of class during naptime. This was corrected at inspection.”
“The fire extinguisher has not been serviced, as required.”
“Caregiver lacked a copy of notarized affidavit.”
“One child lacked health statement.”
“Caregiver did not have a signed statement that orientation was completed.”
“Caregiver did not have a copy of diploma in the file.”
“Director lacked training in abuse and neglect.”
“Director's first aid and CPR expired 8/18/2022. Caregiver did not have training in pediatric first aid and pediatric CPR, and the card only indicated Adult first aid and CPR.”
“The smoke detector has not been tested monthly, as required. Note: Corrected at inspection when smoke detector was tested during the inspection.”
“The fire extinguisher has not been serviced. The fire extinguisher was last purchased on 6/2020.”
“The carbon monoxide is not being tested monthly, as required. Note: Corrected at inspection when carbon monoxide was tested during the inspection.”
“The LCCH was out of ratio when 13 children were in care, ages ranging from 18 months to 3 year olds.”
