Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The infant classroom was left unsupervised.”
“This standard was reviewed as part of an investigation and found to be deficient. It was determined that a caregiver was pinching and hitting children while in care.”
“At the time of inspection, annual inspection documentaion is not available for review.”
“At the time of inspection, annual gas inspection documentation is not available for review.”
“At the time of inspection, current certification documentation is not available for review.”
“The play structure that is on the playground outside does not have at least six inches of loose fill surfacing in all fall zones.”
“During my walkthrough, I observed children under the age of two years watching TV in the infant room. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver turned the TV off.”
“The play structure that is on the playground outside does not have at least six inches of loose fill surfacing in all fall zones.”
“There are left over building materials on the playground from contracting work. The materials contain hazardous objects that pose a risk to children.”
