Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A five-year-old child was left unsupervised inside the classroom for approximately five minutes while the remainder of the class transitioned outside to the playground.”
“A class was observed to have the TV on during snack time.”
“A four-year-old was left unattended in the classroom for about one minute while the class transitioned to the playground.”
“Operation failed to make a COVID-19 report to Licensing within the required 48 hours.”
“A three-year-old was unattended in the foyer for about one minute.”
“A caregiver used inappropriate judgment when lifting and grabbing a child by his upper arms.”
“A two-year-old was left unattended on his cot for approximately 20 minutes while the class went to recess.”
