Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Current training records for 2 caregivers were not available at the time of inspection.”
“A caregiver without an eligible background check was present at the time of inspection.”
“An individual with conditions on their background were not following the conditions per their background check. An additional staff member was sent to the class at that time the staff was following the conditions of their background check.”
“Three of the five staff files reviewed were missing the following trainings; - food allergies - hazardous material - administering medication.”
“Medication was observed stored in the medication storage box not in the original container.”
“An individual without an eligible background check was caring for children. This individual was sent home for the day.”
“There is enough evidence to support that a caregiver was not following Minimum Standards regarding how children should be treated while in care.”
“It was found during an investigation that a child was served a known food allergen.”
“Based on information obtained during an investigation, it was determined that the childcare facility did not complete an incident report regarding a situation that placed a child at risk.”
“It was found during an investigation that the operation did not report to licensing when a child was placed at risk having been served a known food allergen.”
“During an investigation it was found that a child was left unsupervised.”
