Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The bottles observed in the infant room refrigerator were not labeled with the infants' names.”
“During today's inspection I observed cleaning supplies stored on a shelf in an area accessible to children.”
“Two out of four files checked did not have any photo identification. This was corrected when director made a copy of their drivers license and kept a copy on file.”
“A caregiver left an infant alone to get her procare tablet in the office and went back to her room.”
“Based on the interview with children and staff, there is enough evidence to validate that prohibited punishment did occured in care.”
“Documentation showing a caregiver completed 16 hours of pre-service training was not available for review during this inspection.”
“Four caregivers were in need of Pediatric first aid training.”
“Records were evaluated for ten children in care and the following was determined: -Six needed a special needs statement -Three needed emergency contact information such as name, address, and phone number for someone other than the parent/guardian. -Two needed school information -Three needed updated immunization records -One needed a food allergy statement -Two needed a food allergy emergency plan.”
“The classrooms did not have a sleeping chart for children in care. Note: This was corrected during inspection. The classrooms created and posted a number/child assignment chart.”
“Four caregivers needed Pediatric CPR training.”
“I observed unlabeled cups in the toddler classroom. Note: This was corrected during inspection.”
