Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The primary caregiver was lacking annual training in required topics.”
“The primary caregiver's training file was not available for review during the inspection.”
“The outdoor play area had a hole in the ground near the perimeter of the fence causing a possible entrapment hazard.”
“The assistant caregiver was lacking the required amount of training hours.”
“A caregiver that has not been background checked through the operation was observed caring for children in the home. This was brought into compliance by having the caregiver leave the home immediately. The operation has 2 business days to submit the background check.”
“The outdoor play area was observed to have broken pieces of wood with protruding sharp nails on top of a wooden play structure. A water hose was also observed unrolled laying in the grass. This was corrected at the inspection by removing the water hose and removing the broken pieces of wood. In the main hallway of the home, a large vent was not properly secured to the wall allowing access to an opening leading under the house.”
“Upon review of training records it was observed that the primary caregiver was lacking annual training hours.”
