Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A staff member was observed pulling a child on the playground to redirect their behavior.”
“A staff member did not demonstrate competency when interviewed during an investigation, as they falsely changed their story.”
“A staff did not perform CPR in a proper manner that is trained in CPR training. The staff kept a finger in the child mouth and gave breaths of air while walking the child around and sitting the child up. The staff did not appear to properly secure the mouth-on-mouth position needed for CPR.”
“The operation did not contact EMS after a child loss conscious and required CPR.”
“A caregiver did not supervise children properly and intervene when children running around the classroom.”
“A caregiver did not demonstrate good judgement when picking up a child.”
“There was one employee present with an inactive background check. This was corrected at the inspection when the employee was sent home and the background check was resubmitted.”
“The last fire inspection the operation had documentation for was conducted on 2/25/22.”
“The fire inspection conducted on 2/25/2022 was on a fail status. There is not an corrected inspection after that.”
“There was not a playground maintenance checklist for review.”
“A caregiver did not use good judgment when holding an infant. The caregiver did not hold the infant in a stable and secure position and as a result the infant fell out of the caregivers arms and was injured.”
