Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection, a caregiver in a toddler classroom was found to not have an active background check with the operation. The Director had the caregiver leave the operation immediately until a new background check could be requested and cleared.”
“Four of the eight infants in care were missing current feeding schedules.”
“The operation has gas service and did not have documentation showing a gas leak test had been performed.”
“The operation did not have a current annual fire inspection.”
“Based on the information obtained during the investigation by DFPS, it was determined that the caregiver was aggressive and didn't use control when a child was pulled, yanked, and forced back onto their mat to sleep.”
“A caregiver that was responsible for supervising, did not have pediatric CPR training at the time of the incident.”
“There was a child left unsupervised by day care staff at an in-house field trip for an amount of time.”
