Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A parents vehicle that is used to transport children to field trips does not have a fire extinguisher. This parent will not be transporting after todays field trip and will no longer be enrolled into the program.”
“The person who transported the children and the caregiver on the field trip did not have transportation training.”
“The operations last sanitation inspection was completed 3/18/2024 and was past due by 3 months.”
“The operation is now transporting children for field trips. The service of transportation was added to the operation.”
“It was found during an investigation that a caregiver who administered first aid did not have current training in first aid.”
“During a DPFS investigation, it was found that two caregivers did not have current first aid training.”
“A caregiver was sitting beside a 4 month old infant holding the infants bottle to their mouth. I explained to the caregiver that infants birth through 6 months must be held to feed. The infant was picked up.”
“Observed cleaning chemicals in a closet in the hallway that the lock was broken and was unable to be locked.”
“Observed a climbing structure on the toddler playground that did not have any loose fill under it. This was discussed with the director and corrected when the equipment was removed.”
“3 out of 7 children files did not have an emergency contact address listed.”
